I never thought 2 of my favorite games can be played in a single game. Street Fighter, developed by Capcom, is a all-around favorite game in arcades since 1987. You will never forget Ryu and his rival Ken, those martial artist who can use Hadouken and Shoryuken. There were many series released, and the latest was last 2008. On the other side, Tekken which was developed by Namco started 1994. The Tekken games were released on arcades, Playstation, Playstation 2, PSP, Playstation 3, Gameboy Advance, and Wonder Swan. The game revolves with The King of Iron Fist Tournament. You may find Jin Kazama as the most popular character because he has the most interesting story, probably the deepest in the game.
Now you may play a fighting game with Tekken characters battling Street Fighter characters. This was unexpected to me, Namco and Capcom merging in one game. A trailer was released along with the some screenshots, unveiling a whole new fighting experience to be awaited, the Street Fighter X Tekken. Watch the trailer to get the excitement you’ll keep until 2012.
The game is reported to be available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Ryu, Ken, Guile, Abel, and Chun-Li from Street Fighter and Kazuya, Nina, King, Marduk, and Bob from Tekken are confirmed to be on the Street Fighter X Tekken.
What are your expectations on the game? Do you think this will hit the arcade stations?
