As I expected, it turned out that Nonito Donaire wins the Donaire VS Arce for the WBO Superbantamweight title. Donaire took off Jorge Arce with a TKO in Round 3 (2:59), whereas Arce got knocked down three times, and the third was his downfall in the match, and so as in his boxing career.
I think it was the end of Jorge Arce’s career in the boxing world. Donaire gave him a humiliating defeat, having to be knocked out asleep in Round 3, and the score cards to be in huge gap between them. Arce was even boasting about knocking of Donaire, but it seems the opposite happened, and I really expected that.
Congratulations Nonito Donaire for succesfully defending the WBO Superbantamweight title, and so as the pride of the Philippines in the boxing field. Pacquiao may have failed last week to be victorious, but Donaire paid back the Mexicans twice of what happened to Pacquiao. Pacquiao was knocked out just in Round 6, while Arce got knocked out in Round 3, plus Arce was never in control of the fight, but Pacquiao managed to knocked down Marquez once, and could have won if that lucky punch of Marquez didn’t land.
Let’s hope the Nonito Donaire will be the next Manny Pacquiao that every fight of his is waited by the world. I really have high hopes on Donaire.
