Today, February 8, Google has put a new Doodle in their search engine homepage. It can be seen a whole new seaside experience with a controllable lever going in four directions. The word Google has holes where water can be seen with fishes swimming around, and the sky on top. On the left panel, you can see 3 gauges for direction and speed. The design is adapted from early 80’s of ships in France.
Today’s Google Doodle has something to do with Jules Gabriel Verne, a French writer of science-fiction genre. He is best known for his three popular books: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea (1870), A Journey to the Center of the Earth (1864), and Around the World in Eighty Days (1873). He was born on February 8, 1828. A commemoration of him may be the reason why Google has this new doodle.
All I can say is Wow for this fantastic doodle from google to announce the B’day of Jules Verne, father of science fiction. Nice way to show this with the post.. Thank you !
